Dessislava Lubenova

  Dessislava Lubenova, PhD, is a Chairman of the Management Board of “Trace Group Hold” Plc and Executive Director of “Trace for people” Foundation. She has acquired a Master's degrees in: “Economics and Human Resources Management” and in “Theory and Methodology of Mass Information” from the University of National and World Economy; and in “Public Health and Health Management” from Medical University, Sofia.

She has defended her PhD thesis in Social Medicine and organization of healthcare and pharmacy at Medical University, Sofia. Her professional career began in 1991 as a consultant, partner and manager of one of the first consultancy companies in Bulgaria; she was a founder and executive director of one of the first registered privatization funds in Bulgaria, later transformed into an investment company. From 1996 to 2006 she was executive director of Holding Roads Plc - the biggest infrastructure company at that time, which was a holding comprised of 12 subsidiaries. Dessislava Lyubenova was a member of the Board of directors in a number of road construction and industrial companies such as Moststroy-Engineering EAD – Sofia, Road Construction Equipment Jsc – Sofia, Burgaspatstroy Jsc – Burgas, Trace Sofia Jsc, etc.

She was awarded Evrika Foundation Young Manager Award for 2001.
